Advice to the Elderly

This is another significant area of practice. Obviously much advice on inheritance and preparation of Wills and general advice regarding inheritance tax is given to people who are retired, likewise equity release mortgages and purchases of sheltered housing units.

Also of significance with this age group is the issue of mental capacity and incapacity with work relating to Lasting Powers of Attorney or in cases of incapacity the Court of Protection.
